Some Campus
Baylor University of Waco now
has what is probably the longest
campus of any university in the
country. The southwest corner
of this elongated education car-
pet is located in Coryell County
some two hundred feet north of
Company 817’s flagpole while the
northeast corner is in McLennan
county about a mile south of the
Amicable building.
The southwest corner is repre-
sented by our Baylor freshman
unit, (the Bear’s youngest cub)
and the other end by Baylor it-
self in Waco.

Get Rid of Poisons
Produced by Constipation
A cleansing laxative—purely vege-
table Black-Draught — is the first
thought of thousands of men and
women who have found that by re-
storing the downward movement of
the bowels many disagreeable symp-
toms of constipation promptly can
be relieved. . . Mr. J. P. Mahaffey,
of Clinton, S. C., writes: "I have
found that Black-Draught Is very
effective in the cleansing of the sys-
tem. When affected by the dull
headache, the drowsiness and lassi-
tude caused by constipation, I take
Black-Draught."

ALONG THE WAY
Today is your day, and mine,
the only day that -we have, the
day in which we play our part.
What our part may signify in the
great whole we may not under-
stand, but we are here to .play it,
and now is our time. This we do
know: It is a part of action, not
whining. It is a part of love, not
cynicism. It is for us to express
love in terms of human helpful-
ness. This we know, for we have
learned from sad experience that
any other course of life leads to-
ward decay and waste.—David
Starr Jordan.
Friends of Bob Garrett will be
glad to know that he was able
to return home Sunday after un-
dergoing an operation in Provi-
dence Sanitarium, Waco last
week.
Work was begun Tuesday mor-
ning on the erection of a neat,
modern home on the lots owned
by Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Edwards,
just north of the Dr. Kunz resi-
dence.
Miss Lorrene Harris spent sev-
eral days.last week with friends
in Fort Worth and Dallas.
