“The average man feels
better after a few winks, es-
pecially if she winks back.”
Why is the YMCA import-
ant to you?
Because the YMCA provides
a varied program to help
your youngsters and the
youngsters of your commun-
ity become better citizens.
Because this progam is a
leisure time program. Young
people take pa'rt in the Y pro-
gram voluntarily . . . because
they want to. What better cli-
mate for training and teach-
ing?
Because the Y gives adults
an outlet for meaningful vol- j
unteer service ... as board
and committee members, ciubj
leaders and coaches, contri-
butors of time, energy and
substance. This is also a part
of the YMCA program, one <
which benefits the adults who
serve as well as the young]
people.
Because the YMCA perpet- J
uates its purposes through the j
young people in its program. I
They learn that they also have
a responsibility of service,
and when they become adults
they will in turn serve — give
back to the next generation! ^
what they have received. It'|f|*'
will go on and on and on . . .
and our country will be richer
because of it.
