U.S. Census Bureau figures
also show that the more than 13
million women in the civilian la-

16 to 70 or more and are of ev-
ery race and color.
The trend for increasing num-
bers of married women to be-
come wage earners outside the
home has created new job train-
ing demands. Many women arc

are housewives who are prepar-
ing themselves to return to work
and are either taking “refresher"
courses or are mastering new
job skills.

Insulation is an important factor in keeping your home comfortable and saving energy
both in the winter and summer. You can save as much as 23% on fuel consumption if
your home is insulated to FHA standards. And . . . fully insulated, with 6V4 inches of
insulation in the ceiling, 3 % inches for the outside walls, there can be a savings of 45
to 55 percent. What does insulation do? It restricts the quantity of heat which escapes
during the winter or comes in during the summer. So check into the advantages of full
insulation. The more you do to conserve energy
... the more there
will be for everyone.
