INVAKI AML Y IN ADVANCE
FRIDAY, JULY 11,1921
Radio is a wonderful invention,
and was duly appreciated by
owners of receiving sets the past
few days who have lieen i-ble to
ait in their own homes and listen
to the proceedirtfs of the Demo-
cratic National convtniion in
session in New York. The roll
call, the. totals of each ballot,
cheering, speeches hii<1 the band
were distinctly heard by Deport
people, even with the small re-
ceiving sets, several stations in
the southern part of th" country
using t he telephone lines to bring
the proceedings into their broad-
casting rooms, where they were
amplified and sent out.

To parents who desire to trans-

After a careful consideration
by the school board of the De-

rateH for tuition for the term of
1924-25 have been placed at $5 00
per month for high school work
and $3.00 per month for gram
mar school, payable at tiie end of
each school month. Each trails
ler will be given credit for the
amount received from t' • state
ns scholastic apportionment. This
apportionment will be between
$12 00 and $15.00. These prices
are in line with prices charged
by other good schools of the
state, and are as low as can be
made and employ good teachers.
Deport had the best school
within her history the past term,
and it is our desire and intention
to make it even better during
1924 25.
Those who desire to transfer
their children must do so before
