R. W. Schumann feels that de-
monstrating improved agricul-
tural practices in a county can
prove to be a real boom to
county farmers and ranchers.
Testing of different varieties,
new crops, fertilizer applica-
tion and placement, disease re-
sistant seed and varieties are
just a few of the demonstra-
tions that can be profitable to
a farmer or rancher in the
county.
Usually these tests are a
combined effort of a farm or
ranch producer and the County
and Agricultural Agent. Schumann

day that Mr. Norman Brints
Area Farm Management Spe-
cialist, will conduct a meeting
on Farm Income Taxes and Re-
cords for Haskell County farm-
ers and ranchers. The meeting
will be held on Tuesday, Janu-
ary 24th at the Community
Room of the Haskell National
Bank. The meeting will start
Promptly at 2:00 p.m., Schu-
mann said.
