to those worn by the matron
of honor. They carried hand
bouquets of white mums in the
form of a smaller wedding
band.
Barbara Kay Schacherl was
the flower girl. She wore a
floor length dress of shrimp
silk organza with a bouffant
skirt. Randy Steinhauser serv-
ed as ring bearer.
Max Steinhauser of Austin
served his cousin as best man.
Groomsmen were Jerry Falti-
sek, R. W. Rietz, brother of the
bride, James Mica, brother of
the groom, and Leonard No-
vak, cousin of the groom. Billy
Marburger of Houston and
Kenwood Macker of Flatonia
were the official witnesses. Ri-
chard Steinhauser and Gary
Warren were ushers.
For her daughter’s wedding
Mrs. Rietz wore a street length
dress of dusty rose lace over
taffeta. Her hat was of white
velvet. Her accessories match-
ed her costume and she wore
a white carnation corsage. The
mother of the groom wore a
'Street length dress of toast
brocaded taffeta with match-
ing accessories. She wore a
white carnation corsage.
Immediately following fhe
ceremony a reception was held
at the Cistern Recreation Hall.
Lunch and dinner were served.
The guests were registered by
Mrs. Betty Danner, cousin of
the bride.
Following the reception a
dance was held in honor of the
bride and groom.
For the wedding trip to Big
Bend, Texas the bride wore a
black suit with box jacket and
straight skirt, and matching
accessories. She wore a triple
strand of aurora pearls, a gift
from the groom, and used the
orchid from the center of her
bouquet for her corsage.
The couple will be at home
at 4210 Southerland, Houston,
Texas.

Ammannsville and Holman ru-
ral road intersection, just off
F'M-155 in the Cozy Comer
area. Sunday about 5 p. m.

apparently cut in front of a

Miss Lillian Lanelle Mc-
Cracken of Cypress and Ed-
ward William Schulze of La
Grange were married at the
Sacred Heart Catholic church
at three o’clock Saturday after-
noon with Rev. Harry Mazur-
kiewicz officiating at the dou-
ble ring ceremony Wedding,
music was provided by Mrs. i®
John L. Sulak. Three sprays
of gladioli decorated the I
church.

en of Cypress are the parents i
of the bride and the groom’s |
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Har-
old Schulze of La Grange.
The bride, given in mar-
riage by her father, wore
a floorlength bridal gown
of chantilly lace and sa-
tin created with a fitted has-
que of lace, scalloped neck-
line, long sleeves tapering over
the hands, and fastened in back
with tiny self covered buttons.
The fuli skirt of satin was
fashioned with deep points in-
serted into the lace which fell
into a chapel length train. Her
elbow length veil was attached
to an open crown of tiny
white flowers. She carried
lavender orchids centered in
white carnations in a line ar-
rangement.
Miss Wanda McCracken was
her sister’s maid of honor. She
wore a street length dress of
dark lavender taffeta with big
puff sleeves. She carried lav-
ender and white gladioli and
wore a lavender hat and veil
dyed to match. Bridesmaids
were Miss Claudia Wright of
Cypress and Miss Rosie Sch-
ulze, sister of the groom of La
Grange. They wore light lav-
ender street length dresses of
taffeta and hats with veils
dyed to match.
Becky McCracken, sister of
the bride, was flower girl. She
wore a pink and white nylon
dress with white shoes. Her
headdress was a pink hat with
a veil and she carried a white
basket with lavender and pink
rose petals. Ring bearer was
Ray Anderson of Cypress and
he carried the rings on a white
pillow.

of La Grange and groomsmen

and also orchids as her corsage.
A reception was held at the
American Legion hall, and al-
so a dance at night honoring
the couple. The bride’s cake
was a three tier cake" with pink
flowers and a miniature bride
and groom on top.
For her traveling apparel,
Mrs. Schulze chose a beige
suit with beige and blue ac-
cessories The couple will
make their home in College
Station where the groom is at-
tending Texas A&M College.
