There was the story of how
he wanted to quit A & M in

near the football field where
the Aggies were going through
spring training*. He w»* report-

QUESTION: What infotmu-
tton other than the employee’s
name and social security num-
ber do I need to get on the day
he is hired ?

hy the card. In addition, you
should get his home address.
QUESTION: I do household
work for three different em-
ployers. During the last calen-
dar quarter 1 was paid a total
of in cash wages by the
three employers. I believe each
of my employers should reeport
my cash wages to the Internal
Revenue Service on a quarterly
report because my total cash
wages for the quarter were
more than $50. Each of my em-
ployers says she is not requir-
ed to report the wages she paid
me during the quarter, because
she paid me less than $50 in
cash wages. Please tell me who
is right.
ANSWER: Your employers
are right. An employer of a
household worker is not requir-
ed to report the worker's
wages unless she pays the work-
er $50 or more in cash during
a calendar quarter.
