No vacancv signs were up on most of the local tourist courts
during the Memorial Day week end as tourists flocked to the coast
to enjoy the first holiday week end of the 1%4 vacation season.
Ferry crossing officials said 3 384 vehicles were ferried across the
channel during the three days

Aransas Pass voters will decide three bond issues Saturday

part in the annual United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth" a
continental project for youth sponsored by the Odd Fellows and
Rebekas of America Sue Johnson and Ruby Hudson of this city
and Bobby Dean Smith of Ingleside have been chosen from this
area to participate
