Description: Actual spoon belonging to Alice M. Colquitt, wife of Robert K. Colquitt. They had a large ranch in Presidio County. "A.M. Colquitt" is engraved on the back of the handle. 1847 Roger Bros. 12 stamped on the back of the handle as well.

Description: Bonnet of blue silk. Brim is hand-quilted in square corners and curving lines that follow the shape of the brim in even lines. The brim is composed of 3 pieces of silk fabric, which are pieced together and then quilted. Cotton used as batting material throughout.
