The photograph on the reverse side shows the hook and ladder company of the Waukesha Fire Department in Waukesha, Wisconsin; this company is made up of eight firemen. The horse-drawn wagon in this photo is carrying a load of ladders in the back, along with fire helmets and various hooks.
