Nielsen discusses his prewar assignment to Corregidor Island, the Battles of Bataan and Corregidor, capture by the Japanese, experiences in internment at Bilibid Prison, Cabanatuan, and Palawan, surviving the Palawan Massacre, and his rescue by Filipinos and American forces. Included is Nielsen's obituary of February 6, 2011.
