Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Fred Vogel. Vogel finished high school in 1930 and went to work before going to Drake University. He graduated from law school in 1940. He enlisted in the Army in April, 1942. After basic training, he was made an instructor. In October, 1942 Vogel went to officer candidate school in Georgia.
