Description: Patent for an Artesian or oil well drilling apparatus that has a detachable drill-bit in its tubing and has an "improved means whereby an expansion drill bit or blade of any preferred construction can be secured to or detached from the drill tubing without removing the latter from the well" (lines 12-15).
