Description: Photograph of the south and east sides of the Palestine Masonic Temple located on the corner of W. Debard and N. Queen streets in Palestine, Texas. It is a three-story brick building and has the words "Masonic Temple" and a Masonic symbol on the front (south side); the third-floor windows along the front have also been filled in and have other decorations or symbols on them.

[Sam Myres' Sweetwater Council Membership Card]

Description: Membership card issued by the Sweetwater Council of the Royal and Select Masters of Texas to S. D. Myres in 1953. The center of the card has a triangular logo for the group inside a stamped circle with the chapter's name. The back of the card says "This certifies that this Council is a regularly Chartered and Constituted Council under the Jurisdiction of the Grand Council, Royal and Select Masters of Texas."

[Sam Myres' Royal Arch Masons Card]

Description: Membership card for Sweetwater Chapter Number 236 of the Royal Arch Masons (R.A.M.) with the text: "This Certifies Companion __S. D. Myres__ Has paid dues to __June 24, 1953__ $1 of your annual dues goes to the maintenance of the Home for Aged Masons, Arlington, Texas." The seal of the masonic group is printed on the card behind the text, inside a raised stamp for the local chapter. The back of the card has text from the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas, with the group's seal.
