A water tower and a windmill is partially visible at right. The hotel was demolished in order to expand North Front Street.

Description: Photograph of Main Street, looking towards the north, in Midland. Several buildings are built along the unpaved road, such as two-story houses, small storefronts, and the Llano Hotel, a two-story hotel with a hip roof, a second-story balcony, and possibly a tree in front of it. The two-story wooden building to the extreme left is the Midland County Courthouse.
