[A drugstore after the 1947 Texas City Disaster]

Description: Huge clouds of dark smoke are visible behind and to the left of a commercial building with two store fronts visible. A sign in front of the store on the left reads, in part, "Public Drugs". Windows on the drugstore are boarded closed. In front of the store is a scales. The other store on the right is also boarded up. These buildings were located on the south side of the 300 block of Texas Avenue.

[Moreland's Rexall Drug]

Description: Photograph of the Moreland's Rexall Drug storefront in Fort Worth, Texas. This drugstore was located at the Westcliff Shopping Center, built in 1945 by the J. E. Foster & Son company. A row of parked automobiles can be seen in front of the drugstore. Some products hang in the front windows of the storefront. The shopping center still stands today and is located at West Biddison Street.
