Description: The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with David Rucker. Rucker already was a pilot, having been through the Civilian Pilot Training while he attended college. In October 1942 he was called to active duty in the Army Air Forces for flight training. He wound up in B-17 bombers. He earned his wings in July, 1943.
