Letter from I. H. Kempner to Lamar Fleming, Jr. expressing happiness at the letter his son showed him from Fleming. He explains that Tinsley had published several hundred letters from his father, H. Kempner, which led to the Texas Gulf Coast Historical Association inviting them to speak on "H. Kempner - The First One Hundred Years". He states that the printed issue of his speech will be out soon and expresses hope that he will want to read it.
