[Steeplechase Pier in New Jersey]

Description: Photograph of the entrance to the Steeplehchase Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The entrance to the pier has large letters that read "George C. Tilyou's Steeplechase Pier." Vendors of the pier can be seen on either side of the entrance. This amusement pier was built in 1899 and closed in 1986 and in 1988 was destroyed by a fire.
