Membership Chairman Harzell Stephen filed his report . He sent to
every member of his committee several ideas that were proven
worthwhile to him. He also stated that all Compatriots should
assist in netting members to other chapters other than their own2 as
they pursue members for their own chapter.
Treasurer General Calhoun informed the members of a registration
of song under 1L3 year of age where they could be notified of
their eltibility on reaching the age 1. This will be done on a

Chairman James Head Retention Committee, filed his report in which
he recommended to the District Vice Presidents to study the
reason for resignation to get the memership chairmen of the
chapters to encourage earlier payment of dues.
Resolution Chairman M Wright had no resolutions to submit at this
t i me.
Chancellor M. Wright spo:e on Article X of the Constitution. He
stated that since there was an adjudicated judgement held in the
case of Neill Amsler he was still a member in good standing. In
the case of Gary Pi nnel1 since he was found gui1 ty of
embel 1 zei11ment he would be dropped from the rolls upon the
Chancellor's receipt of the minutes of the trial and the action of
the court.
Compatriot Zeitler, Chairman of Patriot Fund Project requested
recommendation for Patriot Fund Projects as soon as practical.
President Morgan stated that Bill Simmons has been awarded all the
medals and awards that can be given to an individual by the state
society.
President Morgan asked Compatriot Eddleman the status of the 1990
South Central District Meeting.The President thin fornia committee
with Compatriot Eddleman as Chairman of the Committee with- Gen, J.
Wright, Hill and Smith as members to report back on the feasiblity
to conduct the South Central District meeting in 1990.
Compatriot Tom bresnehen from the San Antonio Chapter asked that
the state offer an invitation to NSSAR to hold their Congress in
San AntoniQ in 1906. The motion was made, seconded and carried.
Chairman Brandau, Scrapbook Committee, stated that Virginia Turner,
the lady who prepared the TXSSAiR Scrapbok, thought she should not
do the book this year. President Morgan stated he desired she do
the book one more year.
Secretary Hill made a motion that we take out a 1/2 page ad in the
Commerative Edition NSSiR Magazine. The motion was ammended to a
full page. The motion as amemnded, was seconded and carried.6
