Compatriot Kidwell than reported on a stud.f-the-~ atri[ot Fund
Projects , expenditures as recommended by the Patriot Fund
Projects. The study is filed. The summation of the study was that
73% of the projects that have been spent the past 4 years have been
-'for National Frojects. Compatriot Kidwell made a motion that we
limit the expenditure on National projects to 10. of available
funds. The motion was seconded.
Compatriot Brak:ebill asked for a point of order as he did not
believe the Loard had the right to limit the expenditure of funds
as this was by constitution and bylaws of this society given to
the delegate at the annual meeting.
Chancellor M. Wridnt ruled the motion was in order as this was in
the form of a recommendation. Compatriot Kidwell, stated that the
Board of Managers had the authority to issue direction to the
FatriotFund Project Committee as they deem necessary.
Compatriot Sechrist spo:e against the motion as he felt this was toa
restrictive .A give a f figure.
Compatriot Jack Wrignt strongly urged that the recomendation of
expenditures remain in the hand of the Fatriot Fund Projects.
Compatriot Kurth spoke on the importance of State Projects as he
felt we got the most mileage from the project on the Galvez
brochure.
Compatriot N. Wright moved the previous question and the motion
was seconded. The motion carried.
The motion of limited expenditure of 107.limittiew - 4 feated.
Sr. Vice Pres-dent Billy Hightower made a motion that we refer
these recommendation$ to the Patriot Fund Projects Committee for
fLher- study and report back to the Board at the next meeting. The
y motion was seconded. Motion carried.
Compatriot B. Fice Aston gave a report on the bulletin and thanked
all for the support he received in making the bulletin.Compatriot J. writ CAR Li,0on Chairman reported on the CAR
Regional' meeting and urged that the SARF Chapter have the CAR give
programs as they will find it to be entert ing.
Compatriot J. Wright spoke on the new Eagle Scout Medal that will
be given out to the Chapter winner and urged all chapters to
participate as there is no cost to the chapters.
Compatriot Ritchie Chairman of the Constitution By Laws Committee
reported there have been no recomendation to change the
Constitution and By Laws as of this date.4
