Doctor Eugene Shoemaker, a geologist from Cal Tech,
said today in houston that the moon rocks gathered by
the apollo 11 as ,ronauts have produced overwhelming
evidence that the dry lunar seas were created by lava
flows. And doctor Cliff Frondel, of Harvard says the
moon dust being studied at Houston contains tiny
particles of glass, the colors rangin ; from dark brown
to yellow and he says the glass is lustrous. This
discovery is considered the biggest surprise so far inthe investigation.
