The Fort Worth-built F-111 warplane--persistently
dubbed the TFX.by eastern newsmen--was one of the topics
covered at President Richard Nixon's first news con-
ference since he took office.
Nixon was asked today if he planned to--as the
questioner put it--"open the records" on the development,
cost and performance of the General Dynamics product,
and generally re-consider Congressional decisions made
about the plane. Here's Nixon's answer:(1:00)
