in Dallas
more than 14-thousand six year olds began their
school carreers today, as did these first graders
at the Martha Turner Reilly Elementary school.They were among the /A2 , 6 90
students that
attended classes on opening day in l Dallas,
Officials say school enrollment is
expected to hit about 174-thousand before the end
of the temi. Today also saw the ppening of three
new elementary schools in Dallas and expansion of
kindergartens to 17 schools.
But for the first graders and their parents it was
a day of instructions into their new world.
