of Missouri and hired Dan Devine as their new
head coach and general manager, replacing Phil
Bengston. Devine, who had been coach and athletic
director at 1iswouri for 13 years, signed a 5-year
contract at an undisclosed salary with the Packers
and said it was one of the toughest decisions he's
ever had to make.
