The Nationwide Rail strike will apparently and
24-hours after it got underway...since a top
Union official says train services should be
fully resumed by Midnight.The leader of the strike..C.L.Dennis..President of
the Rail Clerks Union..ordered his men back to
work earlier tonight..after a Federal Judge threatened
to fine his Union 200-thousand dollars a day..for as
long as the men stayed off the job.
The Labor Department reportedly assured Dennis of
speedy negotiations under 2 special Congressional act
giving rail workers a j-percent wage hike immediately..
in return for a no-strike moratorium until March.________________ A
