drag racing's all-time king, who be out for a share
of the 32-thousand dollars in cash and trophies.
The finals will be held monday.
28-year-old Jocken Rindt of Austria---the leader
in the.world driving standings---was killed today
when his Lotus Ford careened off the U111' track at
Monza, Italy. Rindt, who was practicing for
tomorrow's Grand Prix, had failed to give his wife
a symbolic goodbye kiss before jumping into his car.
Lindt had already won five Grand Prix races thisyear.
