Clifford Davis, has asked U.S. district judge Leo Brewster to order the Fort Worth school system to take immediate steps to implement a far-reaching plan of integration. Among Davis requests were major changes in school zone boundries to promote greater mixing of negro and white students in all three school levels --- a reshuffling of teacher assignments so that every school would have the same basic ratio of negro and whte teachers an end to alleged discrimination in promotion policies and cancellation of plans for a new high school in the precominately negro Morningside area.
