Thirty" in the State legislature, representative
Frances Farenthold indicated today she may run
for statewide office this year -- possibly for
governor.1
She said today "not within my time have we
had the opportunity to overhaul state government
as we do in 1972"
Representative Farenthold is the only woman
in the 150 member house. She indicated she would
not run f governor if former Senator Yarbrough
