Shannon
We have tried to 'let it lie' awaiting any legal decisions. We have tried notifying the Board that you are taking some time to
address your legal issues. Not doing anything is not working. The silence, the inaction is allowing dissension among the Board to
creep in and it is beginning to divide Chapter Boards.
After talking with Al and Jimmy and trying to contact you, I believe it is in the organization's best interest for you to step down as
President of the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus. A special membership meeting will be held one way or another since ten
members have already requested a meeting per the by-laws. I just think it is better if you resign rather than continuing the in-
fighting up and into a membership meeting. I hope you understand that what Al is requesting is probably the right thing for all of
us to do though it is not something I've sought. You have the experience and the political savvy to take us forward. I'm just afraid
that you don't have the backing of the Caucus anymore.
Please consider our request as your fellow officers of the Caucus.

As per my conversation with with you both. I withhold my vote on the decision as a board member.
I'm currently working on seeking a location for the meeting to be held on Saturday 09/08/2007, instead of holding it at the SDEC
meeting per say Christina.
The location is being confirmed to be held at is the new TDP State Party Head Quarters. The date is open. I'm still needing to find
an employee to be present. I've sent an email to my two personal contacts and hope to have the date set. Will still seek a back up
location if all fails.
I did state on Saturday to Al, that I was in agreement to move forward based on the issues it has placed on the party.
I have since changed my vote to allow time and all members to be present at the board/general meeting that is being requested.
I agree with locating a place to host a meeting in September and If members present vote, I will then agree.
I also agreed to inform Christina of meeting dates.

Personal and Confidential between Al, Jimmy, Lisa and Shannon:
Dear Jimmy,
I think that the Texas Stonewall Democratic Caucus has spent enough time and energy on the Shannon Bailey problem.
Christina Ocasio, Pres. Austin Stonewall Democrats, has called for a General TSDC Meeting on Aug 25th after the SDEC
meeting in Austin. She has the required 10 members per our bylaws. It is time to move forward.
I think that Shannon should call for a TSDC Board Meeting and a General Meeting on September 8th in Austin. Jimmy is
