Executive Board Meeting - Conference Call
December 14, 2008
The following TSDC Executive Board Members participated in the call -
Dan Graney, Mike Agan, Al Daniels, Paul Tran, Erin Moore, Victor Castillo, Olga
Hernandez, Teresa Herrin, John McClelland, Rich Bailey, Roberto J. Flores, Kaye
Gooch, Edra Bogle, Jeff Falin (representative designated as NSD by Jesse Garcia), Jesse
Garcia, Phillip McNutt, Kris Banks, Amy McIntyre (representative designated as
Houston SD by Teresa Herrin), Karl-Thomas Musselman
Meghan Baker, a candidate for Vice-President, participated in the discussion related to
the election.
1. Determination of Quorum
There were 17 board members or designated representatives at the time the
meeting was called to order. 2 other members joined the call after the meeting
started. Kaye Gooch verified that there was a quorum.

3. Treasurer's Report
Al Daniels reported no transactions since the last meeting. The last transaction
was the $500.00 contribution to the Chris Bell Campaign. Al also reported the
current bank balance of $3,384.41.
4. Update_!n Runoff Election forState-Senate District.l7lChris Bell
Kris Banks and Teresa Herrin reported that early voting ended on Friday.
Turnout is reported low and this should be good for Bell. They stated that they
are hopeful. There have been many people from around the state campaigning in
Houston for Bell.
5. Discussion and appropriate action on acceptance of Teresa Herrin's resignation as
TSDC Vice President - Dan Graney verified that Teresa's resignation email was
forwarded to all Executive Board members. Dan expressed his thanks and the
Executive Board's thanks for Teresa's service. Teresa thanked the Executive
Board for their support and stated that she will continue to support TSDC and
other Democratic organizations in Texas.
Dan Graney discussed that the TSDC by-laws do not address resignations of
officers, so the process in the Roberts Rules of Order were used for the
replacement.1
