Offers Workshops
The Women's Southwest Federal Credit Union
has scheduled summer workshops for women on
subjects including buying a house, women and
the law, and the future of the economy.
June 6 at 10 A.M., Barbara Rosenberg, an
attorney and Dallas Municipal judge, will dis-
cuss "Women and the Law." An overview of com-
munity property laws of Texas will be presented
followed by a question and answer period.
June 23 at 7:30 P.M., economist Nancy Dim-
melman of the Federal Reserve Bank will lead
a workshop entitled "Understanding the Financial
System." Workshop topics will include credit
unions, banks, savings and loan associations,
and life insurance. Kimmelman will lead another
workshop at 10 A.M., July 11 entitled "Econo-
mic Outlook."
OnflBuly 25 at 10 A.M., Rae Searcy and Rose-
mary Bayles will discuss "How to Buy a House."
Searcy is co-owner of RSR Investments and
Bayles is a real estate broker.
All of the workshops are $5 per session, and
will be at the Credit Union,office, 3113 Routh.

Conference of Federally Employed Women in
Dallas. The conference theme is "Managing
Stress, the Challenge of the 80's." Wo»kshop
topics include managing a family and career,
time management, productivity, communica-

Professional Women's Conference in Dallas.
