Entitled "Black Expressions Through Art," the
festival was E co-sponsored by the shopping
center and the Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter of
Delta Sigma Theta. The artists represented in
the show are members of the Association for the
Betterment of Black Artists, which was organized
to promote black talent.
One real crowd-gatherer was a musicalEHMM
group, called the Soul Competition. Their ages
