formed a large pool in a depression, causing a
second blaze that required attention.
The fire sent smoke spiralling several-hundred feet
into the air, and could be seen as far away as Red
Bird Airport in the Oak Cliff area.
The Irving Fire Department was not able to extinguish
the blaze with water, so a special tank truck equipped
with foam was called u to the scene.EXHELICOPTER The Dallas Police Department sent a speaker-equipped
helicopter, to warn the public to keep its distance.
But the words fell on deaf ears.4Motorists slowed to

traffic problems along the sideroads.
