Photograph of a Pet Milk display in a grocery store that is advertising a contest. There are stacks of Pet Milk next to a wire basket that is full of cans. A sign above this basket reads "Win Free Prizes Nothing to Buy Big Guessing Contest Guess how many cans of Pet Milk are inside the wire Winners Announced Sat. May 5th 8P.M. Deposit your guess here". Above this sign is another sign that lists the prizes for first, second and third place in the contest and the prizes are all types of ham. There is a box on the left side of the display that has a slit in the top and a sign on the side that reads "Deposit your guess here" with an arrow. Above this on the stack of cans is a price tag that reads "Pet Milk 2 cans for 27¢" and on the stack on the right side there are various advertisements for the product. In front of the wire basket is an advertisement for the television show 4 Star Revue that reads "Good Buys- In this store you bet! and laughs- "got a million of 'em" on our T-V show for Pet. 4 Star Revue Jimmy Durante Jack Carson Danny Thomas Ed Wynn Wednesday Night WBAP-TV 7:00 PM". Two men, one in a suit and one in a short sleeve white button up, are standing on the left side of the display. The man in the short sleeve shirt is reading a piece of paper while the man in the suit watches. Aisles with stacks of cans and other necessities are visible in the background of the image and a display for McCormick spices is located on the far left of the image. There are advertisements for Kellogg's cereals along the ceiling.
