The Watergate Scandal has caused the
resignation of three of the Nixon administration'
top aides and

Resigning from the whitee House staff are
chief of staff H. I. Waldeman, domestic policy
assistant John Ehrlichman and presidential
counsel John Dean. President Nixon said in an
announcement he had requested Dean's resignation.
The president also announced the resignation
of attorney general Richard Kleindienst and said
he will nominate Defense Secretary Elliot
Richardson to be mg attorney general and to
coordinator of all the investigations of the
Watergate consipracy. f 5
News Secertary Ronald Ziegler said the
president has asked for nationwide radio and
television time tonight at 8:00 o'clock CST todiscuss the Wtaregate case.
