PATRIOT GRAVE MARKER EFFORTS UNDERWAY
As noted in the Plano Chapter article, several compatriots worked
to set the SAR Patriot marker on the grave on the only Revolutionary
War veteran buried in Collin County; John Abston. The Chapter plans
a formal dedication (see article on Patriot Grave Maker Project earlier
in this issue) at a later date. Photos that follow show the markers and
some of the workers; Willie Walker, John Greer and Peter Rowley.
