Police Seek
More Clues
In Abduction
had gone to the school dance
with another couple from
Western Hills, and the other
girl said late M o n d a y: "It
scares me to death. It really
does. It came so close to
being me, too."
That girl said she and her
date had sat alone in McCoy's
car in the same place the ab-
duction occurred about an
hour before it happened.
"Carla and Rodney went in
(the bowling alley) to go to
the bathroom," she said,
"and we sat there by
ourselves.., for about five
minutes."
The girl's mother added, "I
feel real fortunate. If it was
some nut who did this, then it
could just as easily have been
them."
