H.B. No. 2608
1 SECTION 18. Sections 2.2, 12, 13, and 14 of this Act apply to
2 all policies, contracts, certificates, and evidences of coverage
3 delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after January 1,
4 1990. Policies, contracts, certificates, and evidences of coverage
5 delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed before January 1, 1990,
6 are subject to that law as it existed before September 1, 1989, and
7 that law is continued in effect for that purpose.
8 sEcT:oN 19. Except as otherwise provided by this Act, this
9 Act takes effect September 1, 1989.
10 SECTION 20. The importance of this legislation and the
11 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an
12 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the
13 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several
14 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended.18
