10/20/2019 John, I do hope that this email finds all sound and well with you and yours. It has been quite a fall semester up to now and I have remained busy, busy, busy as usual. Hopefully, things will slow down from here on out for the remainder of the school year, but, who knows... We shall see... Here are my presentations for October 2019. I had three of them this month, so I did a bit more than last month with only a single presentation. October 5, 2019 Texas State Board of Managers Meeting - TXSSAR Arlington, TX "The Continental Soldier of the American Revolution" October 18, 2019 Waco-McLennan County Library "Genealogy Lock-In" Waco, TX "The Continental Soldier of the American Revolution" October 19, 2019 "Walking Tales" - Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, TX Waco, TX "The Life and Legacy of Neil McLennan" June just alert me that the couple we stayed with in Woodway, TX on Friday night after the conclusion of the "Genealogy Lock-In" have notified her that I appeared on the front page of the "Heart of Texas" Section C of the Waco Tribune. The Waco Tribune, the major local newspaper in Waco, TX, sent a photographer out to the "Walking Tales" event on Saturday morning. He seemed to be "quite taken" with my presentation and photographed me several times, with one of those photos appearing in the newspaper. Who would have thought it... On a more somber note. I have told several folks at the Arlington SAR meeting this past October that I would be at the meetings for the next two months at least. Well, I was wrong! I have checked my presentation schedule and I am booked for both the second Saturdays in November and December 2019. Second Saturday in November, I will be at the Nancy Horton Davis Chapter, NSDAR in Carrollton, TX. Second Saturday in December, I will be at the Edward Bulkley Chapter, NSDAR in Greenville, TX. Wow! Second Saturdays seem to be a favorite time to meet for SAR and DAR chapters. BUT, I will see all of you in January 2020!!! Have a great week, John. Give Meg my and June's regards. Your Compatriot and Friend, Bill Covington
