First Term
June 5, Tuesday:
8:00 a.m.-All beginning freshmen assemble in Main Auditorium.
June 6, Wednesday:
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.-Registration according to alphabetical list-
ing on schedule.

7:00 a.m.-Classes begin.*
June 9, Saturday:
Last day for a change of schedule without payment of fee.
Last day incoming students may register for a full load.
Jane 13, Wednesday:
Last day for a change of schedule other than a drop.
Petitions for advanced standing examinations should be filed with
dean.
Last day for filing for admission to candidacy in Graduate School.
Last day for filing application for the bachelor's and the master's
degree for August graduation without penalty.** (Students who
expect to be graduated in January should have programs checked
during the summer session.)
*Classes meet five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. Monday
is a free day with two exceptions: June 25 and August 20.
**By payment of a late filing fee of five dollars, candidates for the
bachelor's degree who are in residence at North Texas State College
for the first term of the summer session may file application through,
but no later than, Friday, July 20. By payment of this fee, candidates
for the master's degree who are in residence during the first term may
file application through, but no later than, Thursday, August 9.
Students who are completing the requirements for either the bache-
elor's or the master's degree but who are not in residence at North
Texas State College during the first term of the summer session may
file applications through July 20, Friday, without penalty. After this
date applications for the bachelor's degree cannot be accepted; applica-
tions for the master's degree may be made through, but no later than,
Thursday, August 9, by payment of the late filing fee.I
