Examination in Student Use of English
All students (including transfers) who have 60 semester hours of college credit
are expected to make an appointment (in registration line) to take this examination
unless they have completed at North Texas State College English 131-132 and
English 221-222 or 231-232 or 235-236 with no grade lower than a C.
What to Bring
1. New students bring ACCEPTANCE NOTICES. This group includes transfer
students.
2. Other students bring duplicate records. (If you have lost your duplicate,
record, make arrangement in the Registrar's Office before registration day
for a new copy. ) --
3. All students bring certificate of vaccination for smallpox.
4. All student sign the loyalty pledge and bring it to the Library Building.
Student Load - Read Carefully
(The student is responsible for knowing the maximum load he may
carry and for scheduling no more. )
1. Partial credit in a course may not be scheduled.
2. Undergraduate students must have special written permission from their
deans to schedule fewer than twelve semester hours.
3. Candidates for the bachelor's degree who lack 20 hours or fewer may
schedule the amount necessary for graduation. (A 20-hour load may not
include student teaching. ) The student must present to the FINAL OK
COMMITTEE a signed card from his dean, certifying that he lacks only
the amount indicated for graduation. (Each candidate must have one
