HIJACKER IS VICHM OF PLOT BY POLICE
When 28-year-old Paul Davis of Arlington started

planning a series of robberies with a beer-drinkir^
buddy, he didn't know that his pal was an honest
John who was tipping the police# Today, in the
Fort Worth jail, he still didn't know it. Arlington
police told the pal to play along with Davis, and
when the time came for a robbery the Arlington
officers obligeingly furnished the pair with a
pistol — all unknown ,to Davis• A Fort Worth
officer was to trail the two and make an arrest at
