the unpleasantness of the argumentative approach, why, then
perhaps you're not the right man for the job. I think Caltex
has permitted that under the succession of people that I've
worked for and worked with. That can't be discounted as.a
reason for success. If everything is rubber-stamped from
the home office, I think terrible mistakes can be made in the
field operation.
Well, I want to thank you very much for having participated.
You've said a lot of very interesting and important things
relative to the development of Caltex in Japan specifically
and Caltex in general. I'm sure that your comments will
be useful in the writing of the history of Caltex.
