GIRLS WALKING

Thirty-one Texas lovelies parade before the judges
for the title of Miss Texas'at the Dallas Y-M-C-A.
The contest is held in connection with the
Southwest A-A-U weight-lifting tournament, but all
the girls have to do is look their best and smile
at the judges.

MEN AT TABLE

The judges are quick to narrow the field down to
nine finalists. The girls are judged on figure
proportion, appearance, bearing and the ease with
which they pose.

GIRL (AFTER CROWD)

Third place goes to Miss Patsy Shockey of Fort
Worth....
(WFC)...Second place to Miss Joyce Ninhineet, also
of Fort Worth.
(WFC)...and the winner is blonde, 22-year-old

Ann Neyland, a Dallas model.
