Late today, more than 100 Fort Worth Negro
families flee their homes in the Greenway Park
section in the river bottoms just north of East
Belknap Street. Water is about three to four
feet deep in the area. Many of the families
merely walk out of the area, carrying what
they can with them.TRUCKS MOVING
Scores of other families are carried out in
trucks, hauling with them their possessions.WHITE TRUCK COMES UP
