In the Dallas criminal district court of Judge
Wilson, 17-year-old Dwight G. Smith goes on trial
charged with murder-with-malice. Smith is
accused in the August 18th stabbing death of
another 17-year-old youth, during a beer-drinkingparty....
The trial in Judge Wilson's court
comes -to a surprising quick conclusion. In
final arguements, Assistant District Attorney
Lindsay describes Smith as a "cold-blooded
malicious killer who killed over a lousy 20-cent-
can of beer.".
