Justice of the Peace Boyd, investigating at
tine scene, identifies tue dead as ..
H   :     men, Joe S. Harper, aged 46, the
plane's pilot, and 29-year-old Donald
George            .             was a pilot
for an oil well service company. Both men

apparently died instantly---their bodies
were still in the wreckage when witnesses
reached the plane.
LONG PLANE WRECKAGE
The plane, a Howard five-placer, is heavily

damaged.

Witnesses at the airport say the

plane approached tale field from the north
for a landing on the north-south runway.
