The     tri-color of France is much in evidence'
in Dallas as              a luncheon is held to
make "twin-cities" of Dallas and the French city
of Dijon.  Dijon Mayor Felix Adrien Kir and

Dallas iiayor Thornton appear at ceremonies staged
as part of a "French Fortnight" by Neiman-Marcus.
Mayor Kir      one of a host of French dignitaries
appearing for the celebration.

Mayor Thornton extends greetings to about 100
French officials, and presents a plaque to the
mayor of Dijon, making him an honorary citizen
of Dallas.

Mayor Kir compliments Dallas on its growth,
