E. Helene Sherman (1908-1996)
will be on display from September
10 through 30, 2000 at the
Goodnow Library in Sudbury,
Massachusetts. The exhibit is
being sponsored by the Sudbury
Historical Society and is called
"Works of Light."
This exhibit is the first complete
showing of Helene's works
ever, drawing on several private
collections and the estate of the
artist. Miss Sherman became
widely known in miniature book
circles with her pen and ink drawing
of her poodle, "Sukie", and a
number of miniature books published
with Robert E. MassmannBromer Booksellers. "A Selection
of Books to be Displayed at the
New York International
